DECTIFY Legal Agreements and Policies
DECTIFY builds intelligent technology for real-world environments, connecting artificial intelligence, software, data, infrastructure and connected systems to help organizations and people understand what is happening and respond with greater clarity. This places responsibilities on us that go beyond ordinary software: responsibilities around accuracy, security, privacy, responsible use and transparency about what our systems can and cannot do.
This is where those responsibilities are set out: the agreements that govern the use of DECTIFY technology and services, the safeguards we apply to the information our systems process, the principles and limits that guide how our technology is deployed, and the mechanisms through which individuals, customers and relevant authorities may exercise their rights.
Our commitments
- Customer data belongs to the customer. We do not sell, licence, rent or trade it, we operate no shared database across customers, and we will not build one.
- No model training without opt-in. We do not train on Customer Data, including biometric templates, unless that customer has affirmatively enrolled in writing.
- Every search is logged. Query, user, purpose and result go to an append-only audit log the customer can read and we cannot edit.
- Matches are leads, not conclusions. Acting against a person on a system output alone, without human review, is a breach of our terms.
- Bounded retention by default. Data is deleted on published schedules unless a customer's own legal obligation requires otherwise.
- We publish what we are asked for. Government and law-enforcement requests are counted and reported semi-annually.
DECTIFY Technologies Private Limited is incorporated in India and contracts with Australian customers from India. Documents are written to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) together, with country-specific pages under India and Australia below.
